Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc Hits Streaming Soon!

Chainsaw Man: The Movie - Reze Arc, the second anime adaptation of the popular manga, will soon be available for streaming on April 30. This film picks up Denji's narrative directly after the events of the first 12-episode anime season, which aired from October to December 2022.

The story follows Denji, a young devil hunter burdened by debt, who forms a contract with the devil Pochita, transforming him into Chainsaw Man. After being saved by Makima of the Public Security Division, Denji becomes a professional devil hunter, unaware of Makima's manipulative intentions.

The Reze arc introduces a new character, Reze, who works at a café and captures Denji's attention. Their relationship becomes complicated when Reze is revealed to be the Bomb Devil, a terrorist working for the USSR. Their interactions escalate into a violent confrontation as their true allegiances clash.

Produced by studio MAPPA and directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, the movie has had a successful theatrical run. It was previously available on home media since December 9 of last year, with this streaming release marking its debut on services like Crunchyroll.
