The film, which is starting to slow down in its theatrical run, has still managed to maintain a strong hold at cinemas worldwide, edging closer to cracking the top 15 highest-grossing anime movies list globally.
The Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc movie, which was reportedly made on a budget of $4 million, has collected more than forty-two times its production cost, earning around $168.3 million at the worldwide box office. In Japan, its home country, the film has reached ¥8.77 billion in local currency, equivalent to approximately $57 million, surpassing the lifetime collection of The Eternal 0 to achieve the 76th spot on the all-time highest-grossing films list.
Internationally, the film has collected an estimated $70.1 million, with North America contributing $41.2 million to the global tally. This has allowed Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc to surpass the worldwide collections of Detective Conan: One Eyed Flashback and Bayside Shakedown 2, making it the 16th highest-grossing anime movie ever globally.
