Chad Michael Murray on Ridiculous Wood-Chop Scene

Chad Michael Murray acknowledges the "ridiculous" nature of a wood-chopping scene in Sullivan's Crossing but found it a fun addition. The scene, involving a budding romance snagged by an estranged husband's return, featured a comedic testosterone-fueled contest between characters Cal and Liam. Murray shared that there was significant debate about the actors' tank tops, adding a humorous layer to the production. He emphasized the importance of commitment to such scenes, noting that they ultimately worked due to the cast's dedication and support. The actor highlighted that these moments of levity are essential for the audience and the show, offering relief from the season's otherwise heavy storylines and emotional challenges. Season 4 explores complex romantic dynamics and the dedication to keeping siblings together, making the lighter moments a welcome contrast. Sullivan's Crossing season 4 is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
