Actress Celina Jaitly Files FIR Against Husband Peter Haag

Actress Celina Jaitly has initiated legal proceedings against her husband, Austrian entrepreneur Peter Haag. The Mumbai Police registered a First Information Report (FIR) at Versova Police Station based on Jaitly's complaint of cruelty, physical harm, criminal intimidation, and harassment.

As part of the investigation, a Look Out Circular (LOC) has been issued against Peter Haag due to his alleged non-cooperation with the authorities. This legal battle stems from a petition filed last year by Jaitly under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

In her petition, Jaitly sought interim relief and damages amounting to Rs 50 crore. She claims her husband prohibited her from working, thus robbing her of financial independence and dignity. She further alleged pressure to transfer her Mumbai residence to his name during a period of immense personal distress.

Jaitly accused Haag of severe emotional, physical, sexual, verbal, and financial abuse, which she states forced her to leave their Austrian home and return to India without their children. She is seeking compensation for financial losses and protection under the Domestic Violence Act.

The couple, married on September 18, 2010, has three children. Recently, Jaitly shared an emotional video about visiting her late son's grave, detailing her trauma and alleging that her children were not returned to the marital residence despite court assurances.

She further alleged interference with her relationship with their children, including exposure to selective media narratives and alleged brainwashing. Jaitly stated that despite joint custody and court orders, she is currently denied communication with her three children, which has left her heartbroken.
