Actress Celina Jaitly has shared her experience of facing intense scrutiny over her fitness routine during ongoing divorce proceedings. Jaitly revealed that her commitment to daily workouts, lasting between one and one-and-a-half hours, was questioned in an Austrian court.
She emphasized that her exercise regimen was not about vanity but a vital coping mechanism for grief, trauma, and personal difficulties. These included the loss of a child, her parents, and family crises. Jaitly stated that her workouts provided her with discipline and a way to rebuild herself.
However, the court allegedly portrayed this dedication to physical well-being as 'self-obsession.' Jaitly countered that these sessions occurred only after fulfilling numerous domestic and childcare duties, including caring for twin boys born in 2012 and another set of twins in 2017. Her husband, Peter Haag, filed for divorce last year.
Recently, Mumbai Police registered an FIR against Peter Haag following a complaint by Jaitly, citing allegations of physical violence, cruelty, and harassment. Jaitly highlighted that the discipline learned from her father was central to her upbringing and her efforts to set an example for her children.
