Australian comedian Celeste Barber has broken her silence regarding her separation from husband Api Robin, weeks after the news broke. The 43-year-old entertainer shared a video on Instagram Stories, ostensibly to promote a mascara from her makeup brand BOOIE, where she briefly acknowledged and thanked fans for their supportive messages. This comes after the couple's announcement that they are ending their 20-year marriage.

Api Robin confirmed the separation in a statement released just before Valentine's Day, stating that while love and respect remain, they have realized they desire different things. The couple, who share two sons and Robin has two daughters from a previous marriage, emphasized that their children's well-being is their top priority and requested privacy.

Despite the public surprise, signs of trouble had reportedly been present, with both Celeste and Api having stopped featuring each other in social media posts since early November. Their last joint social media appearance was during the US leg of Barber's 'Backup Dancer' tour, where they appeared affectionate.
