The production, initially announced in 2019, faced significant delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed in 2023. The epic race spans 7,500 KM, beginning in Kuching, Sarawak, on the island of Borneo. The contestants will visit five checkpoints across three countries and two continents before reaching the finish line in Melbourne, Australia.
This season's cast includes singer-songwriter Ella Eyre with Nana, sports broadcaster Jeff Stelling and his son Matt, influencer Princess Andre with her brother Junior Andre, and singer-songwriter Sam Ryder with his tour manager Kaz. The series airs on BBC One and iPlayer every Wednesday from 8 PM, beginning October 28th.
