A significant art fundraiser is currently underway in Cliftonville, Kent, dedicated to supporting young neurodivergent individuals. The event, hosted by Stefan's Acts of Kindness (Stak), features over 160 donated artworks from notable artists and celebrities, including actors Nick Frost and Tom Glynn-Carney, and musicians James Bay and David Gray. This initiative was established by the parents of Stefan Kluibenschadl, who tragically died in 2022 at the age of 15. Stefan's father, Tristan, organized the event to creatively mark his son's birthday, remembering Stefan's passion for music and art. The family established Stak after Stefan's mental health declined due to bullying related to his autism, wanting to ensure no other parents endure such hardship. The fundraising goal for the three-day event, which concludes on Sunday, is between £7,500 and £10,000. Tristan Kluibenschadl highlighted the immense impact of donations, stating that every £5,500 raised can fund 100 hours of specialized counseling for a young person with autism. The generosity of well-known figures has been profoundly appreciated by the local non-profit organization.
