CBS has finalized its fall primetime schedule by ordering a new vampire comedy and declining another pilot. The new series, "Eternally Yours," is a single-camera comedy from "Ghosts" showrunners Joe Port and Joe Wiseman.
The show stars Ed Weeks and Allegra Edwards as a vampire couple who have been together for 500 years. Their stale marriage is disrupted when their vampire daughter brings home a human boyfriend. The supporting cast includes Helen J. Shen, Jaren Lewison, Parker Young, Rose Abdoo, Tristan Michael Brown, and Shylo Molina.
In a parallel development, the network decided not to proceed with "The Tillbrooks." This pilot was a multi-cam comedy starring Kate Walsh and Rhys Darby, set in 19th-century English high society. "Eternally Yours" is expected to premiere next season.
