Emmy winner Catherine O'Hara had a surprisingly brief tenure on Saturday Night Live. Joining the iconic sketch comedy series in the early 1980s, O'Hara departed after only a week without filming any episodes. She cited a desire to return to her comedy roots with SCTV as the reason for her swift exit.
Despite leaving early, O'Hara maintained a positive relationship with SNL. She was later invited back to host the show twice during the 1990s. Her initial SNL debut in the 1980s was followed by hosting duties in April 1991 and again in October 1992.
