The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office has officially listed her cause of death as a pulmonary embolism, a blood clot in the lungs. Rectal cancer was identified as the underlying cause contributing to her passing.
O'Hara's cremated remains were entrusted to her husband, Robert "Bo" Welch. The actress recently earned an Emmy nomination for her role in the Apple TV+ series "The Studio." Throughout her illustrious career, she garnered numerous accolades, including two Emmys, two SAG Awards, and a Golden Globe.
