Castlevania is making a grand return to console with Belmont's Curse, launching on October 15th, 2026. This new installment eschews the series' recent 3D ventures to embrace its beloved side-scrolling roots. Set in the demon-infested streets of 1499 Paris, players embody Rose Belmont, tasked with cleansing the city of ancient evils.

The game, developed by Evil Empire in collaboration with Konami, features innovative gameplay mechanics. The iconic whip has been re-engineered for versatile combat and traversal, while defeated bosses are transformed into powerful arcana spells. This system allows players to grow stronger by completing challenges associated with each spell.
