Carys Douglas Stars in The Seagull

Carys Douglas, daughter of legendary actors Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, has officially embarked on her professional acting career with a stage debut. The 23-year-old starred as Nina in a production of Anton Chekhov's renowned play, The Seagull.

This classic drama, penned in 1895, explores the lives of artists grappling with their ambitions and realities. The limited engagement of The Seagull, produced by Solid Flesh theater company, took place at St. Lydia's in Brooklyn and ran from June 20 to June 27.

Douglas, a graduate of Brown University with degrees in film and international relations, has consistently drawn inspiration from her parents' artistic endeavors. This theater debut marks a significant milestone in her pursuit of a career in entertainment, a path she has openly expressed interest in.

Her brother, Dylan Douglas, also has a presence in the entertainment industry, having ventured into acting and producing short films. The family's artistic legacy continues to inspire the younger generation.
