Joining Carreras on stage will be a wave of international artists, including Robbie Williams, The Corrs, Katherine Jenkins, Ronan Keating, Darren Hayes, Natalie Imbruglia, Sheppard, Ann Wilson, and Mark Vincent. Many of these artists will perform duets with the acclaimed tenor, backed by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and choir.
Carreras, who previously served as musical director for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, expressed his excitement about uniting music and sport. The Gabba, a renowned venue known for hosting major sporting events like Australian Football League and cricket matches, will be transformed into a spectacular concert setting.
