The musical icon, who dated Electra in the 1990s, told her, "You're going to be a Marilyn Monroe type." Electra found this prediction uncanny, especially considering her subsequent career, which includes having the second-most Playboy covers worldwide.

Electra also revealed that Prince was instrumental in her adopting her stage name. He first suggested "Carmen" after they watched the film Carmen Jones together, and later coined "Electra" due to her fast, energetic dancing.
