Carly Rae Jepsen has announced the imminent release of "Day and Night (Continued)," an eight-song collection of B-sides. This new music is set to debut this Friday, a notably quick follow-up to her acclaimed double album, "Day and Night," which was released last month.
This surprise drop aligns with Jepsen's ongoing tradition of releasing B-sides to complement her main albums, a practice that commenced with "Emotion: Side B" in 2016. While previous B-sides collections typically arrived about a year after the original album, "Day and Night (Continued)" arrives less than a month later.
"Day and Night," Jepsen's eighth studio album, marked her first foray into a double-album format and featured singles such as "On Wires" and "After All." Fans can also anticipate her "Day and Night Tour" across North America next year, including a performance at Madison Square Garden. Additionally, Jepsen is involved in co-writing a stage musical adaptation of "10 Things I Hate About You," slated for a Broadway opening in August 2027.
