Carl Radke Celebrates 5 Years Addiction-Free

Carl Radke, known for his role on 'Summer House,' is reflecting on his journey of sobriety, which has now spanned over five years. He candidly shared that in January 2021, he committed to sobriety after a period of significant struggle with alcohol and cocaine addiction.

Radke revealed that the death of his brother in September 2020 was a pivotal moment, prompting him to address his issues. He acknowledges that achieving sobriety was not instantaneous but involved recognizing his problem and seeking appropriate support. He described his final day of drinking and using as a 'rock bottom' experience.

Currently, Radke is collaborating with Outshine for their 'Best Flavor Friends' campaign, which encourages creative mocktail recipes. He is joined in this promotion by his 'Summer House' castmate Jesse Solomon. Radke emphasized the crucial role of friends in supporting a sober lifestyle, noting that Solomon has never witnessed him intoxicated.

Radke also highlighted the positive impact of his sobriety, stating it has completely transformed his life. He expressed gratitude for the progress made, often finding it astonishing when looking back at his past. He is hosting events at his non-alcoholic bar, Soft Bar, in Brooklyn, New York, as part of this collaboration.
