In a move to support and empower parents, Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has recently partnered with Bobbie, an organic infant formula company, as its Chief Confidence Officer. Cardi's new role will focus on raising awareness about infant formula quality and advocating for parental rights through the "The B is for Bobbie" campaign.
The 33-year-old artist has been candid about her own experiences with breastfeeding, sharing that it took her two hours to produce just two ounces of milk. Cardi expressed feeling "less of a woman" due to her struggles, highlighting the challenges many mothers face. She believes that mothers should not be made to feel guilty for using formula, emphasizing that "you're not a bad mom for giving your baby formula."
As part of her partnership, Cardi is encouraging parents to call a hotline, 732-QQ-CARDI, to share their personal stories, which will be sent directly to lawmakers through Bobbie's Bobbie for Change initiative. Additionally, eight callers will receive three months of paid leave, a significant step in supporting working parents.
