Captives of Human Trafficking Become Monstrous Prey

In an exclusive announcement ahead of next month's American Film Market, Alliance Media Partners (AMP) has signed on as the worldwide sales agent for the survival horror film The Hatchery, which is currently in early pre-production.

The film follows eight women who awaken in darkness inside a cargo container with no memory of how they got there. Captives of a human trafficking ring, their fight for survival takes an even more desperate turn when a violent storm hurls their container into the ocean. Stranded at sea, the women band together against the odds - until one of them begins to change. Her wounds heal unnaturally fast, her strength grows monstrous, and the others realize the horrifying truth: she is not just a victim, but the product of a terrifying experiment.

Terrifier star Jenna Kanell is attached to play the lead role, with Howard J Ford (The Dead) set to direct the all-female cast. Additional casting is currently underway. The screenplay comes from Tim Pickett (Tormented), while the producer is Mark Andrews of Skinny Dipped Films (The Fallout).

"This project is going to be raw and terrifying - I want audiences to feel trapped in that container with these women as the tension builds and then explodes," said director Howard J Ford. "Our team will deliver a film that shocks, thrills and stands out. Strap in - it's going to be a wild ride!"
