Canneseries TV Fest Shifts to February
28 Apr
Summary
- Canneseries festival dates moved to February.
- The tenth edition is scheduled for February 11-16, 2027.
- This change places it before the Series Mania festival.
The French TV festival, Canneseries, is set to adjust its schedule by moving to February. This strategic shift places the festival ahead of its competitor, Series Mania, on the annual calendar. The upcoming tenth edition of Canneseries is slated to take place from February 11-16, 2027.
This move is intended to provide a more independent and focused experience for attendees, marking the festival's milestone anniversary. The new February slot will be implemented as a trial in 2027. Organizers will assess its success to determine if it will become a permanent fixture in the future.
Previously launched alongside MIPTV in 2018, Canneseries has operated independently in recent years following MIPTV's discontinuation in April 2024. The relocation to February will position it before the Lille-based Series Mania, another significant event for scripted television.
