Moms Go Global: Candiace & Tara's Reality TV Challenge

Reality stars Candiace, 39, and Tara Lipinski, 43, recently completed filming season 4 of a competition series in Scotland during the summer of 2025. This experience presented unique challenges, particularly for the two mothers who were separated from their young children, Jett and Georgie.

Candiace, who shares Jett with husband Chris Bassett, admitted it was difficult being away from her 15-month-old son. She found solace in the show's support for mothers, allowing regular check-ins. Similarly, Tara found the decision to join the show difficult due to her separation from her daughter Georgie, who was then a year and a half old.

Tara also faced personal upheaval, as her family was rebuilding their home damaged in the January 2025 Pacific Palisades fire. Despite the intensity of filming, she viewed the experience as a necessary escape before returning to address her family's living situation.

In the upcoming season, Tara plays a Faithful while Candiace takes on the role of a Traitor. Both expressed a desire for viewers to see their authentic selves, with Candiace aiming to dispel negative perceptions and emphasize the individuality of Black women, while Tara described the show as her most vulnerable experience to date.
