Camilo's New Album: A Father's Gift Becomes Universal

Camilo's new album, 'Para Cuando Sean Mayores' (meaning 'For When You Grow Up'), was originally inspired by a desire to share meaningful sensitivities with his young daughters.

During its creation, the artist realized these themes of sacrifice and loss of innocence were not only for his children but also represented core values he wanted to express through his music to a wider audience. This marked a significant moment, allowing him to articulate messages previously confined to interviews and conversations.

Released on Wednesday, September 9th, the album features 13 tracks with evocative, fairytale-like titles. It includes a special collaboration with his wife, Evaluna Montaner, titled 'La Medalla,' and a bilingual love song dedicated to her, 'For Eva.'

Musically, 'Para Cuando Sean Mayores' showcases Camilo's versatility, blending his characteristic pop sound with elements of soft ballads, bolero, and Brazilian rhythms. The album's visual concept is equally unique, with the cover art depicting his daughters facing a puppet theater where all the music videos were filmed in Barcelona, Spain.
