Model Camille Kostek recently featured in her ninth consecutive issue of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, with this year's photoshoot taking place in Botswana. While on location in the Okavango Delta, Kostek had an unexpected and frightening encounter with a large male baboon that approached her glass villa. She recounted waking from a nap to loud banging, only to discover the baboon just outside her door, an experience that left her heart racing.
Kostek, who had never visited Africa before this assignment, described the presence of various wildlife, including lions and hippos, as part of the immersive experience. Despite the scare with the baboons, which she now finds humorous, she deemed the overall shoot "incredible." The photos, captured by Ruven Afanador, highlight Kostek in diverse, striking outfits, including an all-white bikini and a vibrant red one-piece, set against Botswana's natural beauty. Other models featured in the Botswana shoot for the 2026 issue included Alix Earle, Penny Lane, Achieng Agutu, and Meredith Mickelson.
