Camila Fernández Honors Legacy with New Mariachi Album

Camila Fernández, granddaughter of Vicente Fernández, is set to release her third mariachi album, "Una Raya Más Al Tigre," tonight, September 10th. The album features nine songs delving into themes of love and heartbreak, continuing her family's rich musical tradition.

The title track was written by Martín Urieta, a composer known for hits with Vicente Fernández. Fernández expressed deep honor at recording the song, which she described as the traditional mariachi piece she had been missing. The album also includes the focus track "La De Rogar," an anthem of self-love that aims to highlight women's roles in regional Mexican music.

Produced by Fabián Rincón, the album blends traditional mariachi essence with modern arrangements. Other notable tracks explore breakups and moving on, with one sole love song, "Amarte Menos." Fernández sees her music as a way to pass on Mexican heritage to new generations.

Fernández is scheduled to begin a tour on October 2nd in Guadalajara, Mexico, followed by dates in Querétaro and Mexico City. She will then tour eight U.S. cities from December 8th to 19th. She noted that her participation in the reality show "Juego de Voces" significantly boosted her confidence.
