As of October 22nd, 2025, Cameron Diaz's new action comedy 'Bad Day' has rounded out its cast with several renowned comedic actors. The film, which is currently in production in New Jersey, has added Sam Richardson, Ben Schwartz, K Callan, Ayden Mayeri, Mark Duplass, and Rob Corddry to the project.
The movie, directed by Jake Szymanski, is being described as a comedic take on the 1993 drama 'Falling Down', which starred Michael Douglas as a man who reaches his breaking point while trying to get to his daughter's birthday party. In 'Bad Day', Diaz plays a single mom fighting to keep one little promise to her daughter on the absolute worst day of her life.
Corddry will portray Diaz's mean boss at a bookstore, while Duplass is set to play a potential romantic interest. The film also stars Ed O'Neill, Danielle Brooks, John Higgins, Rhenzy Feliz, Jessica Belkin, and Emma Pearson. The project is being produced by Beau Bauman through his Good One Productions, with Laura Solon as the executive producer alongside Mark Moran.
