Maryam Touzani's 'Calle Malaga,' Morocco's submission for the international feature film Oscar, has successfully secured distribution in numerous key territories following the American Film Market. Deals have been finalized with prominent independent distributors in Japan, Brazil, Poland, Argentina, the Baltics, Romania, and Ex-Yugoslavia.
The film, featuring Carmen Maura and Lubna Azabal, is slated for a North American release in February via Strand Releasing and will serve as the opening film at the Palm Springs Festival. These recent sales follow earlier agreements in France, Benelux, Spain, Germany, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, and several European countries.
