In October 2025, the cast of the recently ended sitcom "Call Me Kat" is reuniting for a new indie film project. "go-LOVE-go," a semi-autobiographical romantic comedy, features several familiar faces from the former TV series.
Mayim Bialik and Cheyenne Jackson, who starred in "Call Me Kat," have joined writer and lead actor John Griffin, as well as Katie Lowes, Brandon Scott, Colin McCalla, and Cameron Cowperthwaite in the film. The ensemble has now expanded further, with Autumn Reeser, Shane Johnson, Danielle Savre, Roberto Montesinos, Tara Buck, Keili Lefkovitz, and Amir Talai rounding out the cast.
The film follows Griffin's character, a 41-year-old writer who is newly out and struggling with writer's block. After winning a trip for two, his best friend Keili introduces him to the vibrant West Hollywood scene, hoping to find him a travel buddy and a fresh script idea. However, John's research for the trip leads him to an unexpected connection with Tiago, a brilliant engineering student and recent immigrant who pays for community college by go-go dancing.
