Comedian Caleb Hearon Stars in Devil Wears Prada Sequel

Caleb Hearon, a comedian recognized for his podcast and stand-up performances, has landed a role in the recently released sequel to 'The Devil Wears Prada.' He portrays Charlie the Chair, an assistant to the formidable editor Miranda Priestly, a character reprised by Meryl Streep. This role is seen as a spiritual successor to Andy Sachs's initial position in the first film.

Hearon's path to Hollywood began in Chillicothe, Missouri. His early experiences growing up fat, gay, and poor in a conservative rural town fueled his initial engagement with politics. He volunteered for campaigns and interned for a senator, but eventually found electoral politics to be a "game of self-interest."

He pivoted to comedy, moving to Chicago to study at the iO Theater. His television debut was in 'Fargo,' followed by writing for the Netflix series 'Human Resources.' Hearon also gained a significant following on Twitter for his witty responses to online criticism, particularly regarding his body image.
