BTS Member V Reveals Significant Hearing Impairment

BTS member V, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung, disclosed on Wednesday that he has been experiencing hearing loss for approximately two and a half years. He shared that his right ear's hearing is functioning at about 30% compared to his left ear.
V's hearing issues reportedly worsened during his mandatory military service. Initially, he dismissed the problem but sought medical attention as it progressed and is now receiving treatment.
Separately, Jungkook revealed during the same livestream that he is dealing with a shin injury that is on the verge of a stress fracture. He expressed his intention to continue performing while managing the inflammation and microdamage to his bone.
The group's Arirang World Tour has recently concluded its Baltimore dates. The tour has four more North American stops before heading to South America, the south Pacific, Australia, and Hong Kong, with a final date set for March 16, 2027, in the Philippines.
