BTS Star Jimin's Family Becomes First Trio in Korea's Top Donor Club

In a remarkable display of family-driven philanthropy, BTS member Jimin, alongside his father and younger brother Ji-hyun, has become the first trio to be inducted into ChildFund Korea's Green Noble Club. The Green Noble Club, launched in 2017, is the national network of top individual donors in the country, and Jimin's family's membership symbolizes a powerful ripple effect where one member's donation inspires others in the household to participate consistently.

Jimin first joined the club in 2021, donating 100 million won (approximately INR 5,910,000) to support independence programs for care leavers in Busan, as well as children from low-income families and those in poor housing conditions during the pandemic. His father followed suit in 2022, backing ChildFund Korea's i-Leader scholarship program aimed at nurturing future talent. Most recently, Jimin's younger brother completed the family trio by joining the club in May, after completing his mandatory military service.

ChildFund Korea has recognized the Jimin family's impact, presenting them with plaques of appreciation. The organization emphasizes that the family's philanthropic efforts go beyond just monetary contributions, illustrating how a star's public influence can translate into sustained, intergenerational giving that benefits children across various support programs.
