During their visit, BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook greeted an estimated 50,000 fans from the presidential residence's balcony. The group also delivered messages in Spanish and English to their fans, known as ARMY.
President Sheinbaum welcomed the K-pop group, stating, "Music and values unite Mexico and South Korea." She previously teased a potential return of BTS to Mexico in 2027 and had requested more concerts from the South Korean government.
