Brooke Shields' Daughter Joins Reality TV Drama

Brooke Shields and her daughter Rowan Henchy are joining the cast of Bravo's 'Next Gen NYC' for its second season, premiering on June 24. The trailer introduces Shields and Henchy, with Gia Giudice referencing Shields' role as Miley Cyrus' mother in 'Hannah Montana.'

Shields, also known for 'The Blue Lagoon,' shared reflections on her 'Hannah Montana' cameo during the show's 20th anniversary. In a notable scene from the 'Next Gen NYC' trailer, Henchy is seen holding an urn containing her grandmother's ashes, which Shields humorously places next to her mother's favorite items: herself and alcohol.

The upcoming season of 'Next Gen NYC,' described by Bravo as 'anything but chill,' will follow the young New York City residents as they face challenges like finding first apartments, dealing with breakups, and managing shifting friendships. The show aims to explore their ambitions and the pressures of curating an image in a highly visible world.

Season 1 of 'Next Gen NYC' premiered in June 2025. The second season begins on Wednesday, June 24, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo and will be available to stream the following day on Peacock.
