Brittany Snow Fears 'Hunting Wives' Magic Fading

Actress Brittany Snow shared her hopes for the second season of "The Hunting Wives," expressing a desire to maintain the original magic and chemistry that defined its first season. Speaking on the "Shut Up Evan" podcast, Snow conveyed apprehension that the show's unexpected success might introduce undue pressure, potentially affecting the authentic connections among the cast.

Snow elaborated that the initial season felt like a "secret" among the cast, a sentiment she hopes will continue despite the show's growing popularity. The series, which was renewed by Netflix in September, is based on May Cobb's novel and chronicles Sophie's experiences after moving to an East Texas town, where she becomes entangled with a group of affluent housewives.

Co-star Malin Åkerman has also teased an exceptional second season, promising it will "exceed everyone's expectations." Åkerman previously discussed her character Margo's manipulative tactics and confident use of sexuality to gain power. Snow recently praised Åkerman's supportive and attentive nature on set, particularly regarding comfort levels with on-screen nudity.
