Pop icon Britney Spears has unveiled "She'll Never Be Me," a previously unreleased song from her 2001 self-titled album, *Britney*. This track, co-written with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, was made public for the first time on October 9, 2026, three years after her last original music.
The deluxe reissue of *Britney*, subtitled the 25th Anniversary Edition, will feature "She'll Never Be Me" along with four other songs receiving their first official release: "Am I a Sinner," "When I Say So," and "My Big Secret." Additionally, a studio recording of "Right Now (Taste The Victory)," originally from a 2002 Pepsi commercial, will be included.
The *Britney* (25th Anniversary Edition) is scheduled for release on November 6, 2026. The album, released after Spears' breakout success, marked a more mature direction for the pop princess. The original album's singles included "I'm a Slave 4 U" and "Boys," with her collaboration with Timberlake, "What It's Like to Be Me," closing the original tracklist.
