On September 27, 2025, rising British singer Lola Young collapsed during her performance at the All Things Go Music Festival in New York City. The 24-year-old artist was midway through her track "Conceited" when she fell to the ground, prompting medical staff to carry her offstage as fans cheered in support.
Shortly after the incident, Young took to her Instagram Stories to update her followers, writing, "Hi, for anyone who saw my set at All Things Go today, I am doing OK now. Thank you for all of your support, Lola xxx." The exact cause of the collapse has not been disclosed.
This incident comes just a day after Young had to cancel her scheduled appearance at Audacy's "We Can Survive" concert, with her manager citing a "sensitive matter" as the reason.
Young has been open about her mental health and addiction struggles in the past. In 2022, she revealed that she had been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder at the age of 17, and in a recent interview, she discussed her past battles with cocaine addiction, stating, "It teaches you a lot, being addicted to substances."
Despite these challenges, Young has established herself as one of the rising voices in British music, known for hits like "Messy" and her latest album, "I'm Only F------ Myself," which was released on September 19, 2024.
