Bright Eyes is commemorating the 21st anniversary of their influential albums, 'I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning' and 'Digital Ash in a Digital Urn,' with a series of three unique concerts scheduled for next summer. These special performances will feature the band playing both albums in their entirety, a nod to the original simultaneous release of these defining works.
The anniversary celebration will take place at renowned venues, kicking off at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in May, followed by a show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, and concluding at Forest Hills Stadium in New York. Special guest bands will join for each date, performing between the two album sets.
Tickets will be available starting December 10th, with a portion of proceeds directed to the band's nonprofit, Poison Oak Project, which champions equity for LGBTQ+ individuals. Lead singer Conor Oberst expressed enthusiasm for the celebration, highlighting the personal significance of the 21st birthday milestone and the collaborative spirit of the event.
