Bridgerton Adds New Faces for Season 5 Drama

Filming is currently underway in London for the fifth season of the popular regency-era romantic drama, Bridgerton. The show is set to focus on the queer love story between Francesca and Michaela Stirling. To enrich the narrative, the cast has expanded with three new actors: Tega Alexander, Jacqueline Boatswain, and Gemma Knight Jones.

Tega Alexander will portray Christopher Anderson, described as a Regency-era Casanova with underlying self-doubt. Jacqueline Boatswain has been cast as Helen Stirling, Michaela's mother, who will guide her daughter through the social season with a mix of vivaciousness and tough love. Gemma Knight Jones will embody Lady Elizabeth Ashworth, an old friend and confidante to Michaela, known for her grounded realism beneath a playful charm.
