The claims surfaced following a video of the encounter, which reportedly involved an individual named Kyle Gallagher trespassing on Littrell's Santa Rosa Beach property. Littrell's attorney stated unequivocally that the accusation of homophobic language is false and that the full video demonstrably shows no such words were used, emphasizing that sexual orientation was not a factor in the incident.

According to reports, Littrell alleged that Gallagher committed battery against him and disturbed the peace during the trespassing incident in late March. Gallagher, however, claimed he reacted defensively when Littrell held his phone too close to his face. Ultimately, law enforcement concluded that there was insufficient criminal intent from any party and chose not to file charges.
