Comedian Brian Bates will debut his new special, 'Worried,' on Friday, July 24, at 4 p.m. CT/5 p.m. ET via Nateland Entertainment's YouTube channel. The special was filmed at The Lab at Zanies in Nashville.
In 'Worried,' Bates, who became a father later in life and is married, reflects on his experiences with overthinking and people-pleasing. He humorously addresses topics such as surviving dating apps and raising a four-year-old in his 50s.
The show also touches on more unusual anxieties, including sleep apnea, emergency potty-training situations, expensive dog therapy, and the financial impact of removing a tree. Bates proves that no ordinary situation is immune to worry.
Bates transitioned to a full-time comedy career at age 43 after nearly two decades in corporate America. The Nashville-based comedian tours extensively, performing in various venues.
