Pop Star's Grin After Meeting Drag Queen's Flatmate

Brendan Maclean's life took an unexpected turn when he met Richard Chadwick, the person behind the drag persona Karen from Finance. Their connection, which began online, culminated in a serendipitous meeting in Melbourne. Maclean discovered Chadwick was his friend's flatmate, leading to a first encounter outside of drag.

Following this meeting, Chadwick joined Maclean at a performance. Their connection deepened over discussions about music, culminating in an overnight stay at Maclean's Sydney residence. Maclean found Chadwick to be remarkably non-judgmental, a quality he deeply admires. This relationship has positively influenced Maclean's self-perception.
