A judge has dismissed a case against former "The Young and the Restless" actress Brenda Dickson, who had been arrested for misdemeanor battery. The legal proceedings stemmed from an alleged altercation that led to Dickson's arrest in July.
Dickson maintained she was falsely arrested. The man seeking a civil harassment restraining order against Dickson, Richard Chamberlin, alleged she slapped his daughter, whom Dickson claims was his girlfriend.
However, a judge ruled on Monday that Chamberlin failed to prove his case. Consequently, any temporary restraining orders were dissolved, and the case was dismissed.
During the proceedings, Dickson made serious counter-accusations against Chamberlin. She accused him of drug trafficking and supplying drugs to tenants and the woman in question. Dickson also alleged the woman stole $350 worth of makeup and that Chamberlin plastered harassing sticky notes around their shared residence.
