In the lead-up to the premiere of the third season of AMC's supernatural drama series, the network has announced a major casting addition. The series has tapped a Breaking Bad alum to join the show as a series regular. The actor's role is currently only known by the name "Katherine."
The third season of the series, which stars Alexandra Daddario, is set to begin production this week in Vancouver, Canada. According to AMC, the new season will "dive deeper into the mythology of witchcraft, introduce new spellbound families and feature some of the historical happenings of Salem, Mass., the infamous town of witch trials and folklore."
The series is executive produced by Mark Johnson, who oversees the Anne Rice Immortal Universe for AMC Networks, along with co-showrunners Esta Spalding and Thomas Schnauz, and producers Michelle Ashford and Tom Williams. Fans of the supernatural genre can look forward to the expanded mythology and new characters when the series returns for its third season.
