Brandon Sklenar, known for his role in 'The Housemaid', garnered significant attention at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards held on Sunday, September 27, at Los Angeles' Peacock Theater. The actor surprised attendees and fans by debuting a striking platinum blonde, cropped haircut, a departure from his signature dark locks. He arrived looking stylish in a black leather bomber jacket, white t-shirt, and black trousers, accessorized with aviator sunglasses and snake-printed shoes.

Sklenar was accompanied by his 'The Rescue' co-star Hassie Harrison. The film, slated for a 2027 release, features them as a former couple who must come together to save their daughter after she is kidnapped. Sklenar shared insights into his preparation for the thriller, noting that much of the filming occurred outdoors. He mentioned working closely with a dog and a horse, describing the experience as meditative and healing.

Drawing upon his experience within the 'Yellowstone' universe, Sklenar expressed his comfort and proficiency with horses. He recalled competing in a cattle cutting competition, indicating a strong connection with the animals and a love for fast riding, which he feels contributes to his understanding of them.
