Bradford's tenure as the UK City of Culture has concluded, with an estimated £51 million invested and an impressive three million visitors drawn to its year-long celebration. The city hosted approximately 5,000 diverse events, significantly increasing city centre footfall by 25% and fostering a renewed sense of civic pride. Major funding sources included government grants, Bradford Council, and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority.

The cultural programme encompassed a wide array of activities, from a unique stage production of The Railway Children to drone recreations of David Hockney's art and brass band festivals. Over 87,000 individuals participated in events, with 160 local schools engaging in related projects.
