Bozoma Saint John's Lavish Ghanaian Wedding!

Marketing executive Bozoma Saint John, affectionately known as Boz, recently celebrated her union with Keely Watson in a lavish wedding ceremony held in Accra, Ghana, on Friday, August 21. The event was graced by nearly 1,000 guests, with many traveling from the U.S. and U.K. Celebrity attendees included Ashley Graham and Justin Ervin, alongside Saint John's Real Housewives costars.

The wedding embraced traditional Akan customs, with the couple exchanging vows in Kente cloth attire. The ceremony took place at the home of former Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo, who stepped in as a father figure for Saint John due to her own father's health. The celebration was a vibrant display of Ghanaian culture and familial bonds.

Saint John, who previously faced personal hardships including the loss of her first husband and a home fire, found a profound connection with Watson. She highlighted Keely's ability to allow her to be vulnerable, a stark contrast to her often demanding professional life. This deep personal connection was central to their union.

The wedding festivities were extensive, including a welcome reception, a night-before party with fireworks, and a goodbye party, reflecting Accra's cosmopolitan social scene. The couple also shared their excitement about future family expansion through IVF, despite recent challenges.

Saint John aims for her wedding to showcase the beauty and rich culture of Ghana and Africa to a global audience. She hopes to shift the focus from solely Western traditions to appreciating the diverse and vibrant heritage of the continent. The couple plans a second celebration in Beverly Hills in November.
