Ben Savage Ghosts His Boy Meets World Co-Stars

Boy Meets World cast members Will Friedle, Danielle Fishel, and Rider Strong have publicly addressed the estrangement from their co-star Ben Savage. The actors revealed in the documentary "Doc Meets World" that Savage has had no contact with them since 2022. This lack of communication began around the launch of their rewatch podcast, "Pod Meets World." Initially friendly but uninterested, Savage reportedly became unresponsive, eventually unfollowing them on Instagram and blocking their phone numbers.

Friedle took significant steps to reach Savage, showing text messages where he vowed to call daily until Savage responded. He expressed dismay at being ghosted by someone he'd known for 25 years. While a text from Strong later turned blue, indicating a possible unblock, Savage has not reached out. Fishel shared her sadness over the lost connection and hopes for future reconciliation, emphasizing that their story isn't over.

Despite playing best friends for nearly a decade on screen, Strong stated in the documentary that he and Savage were "never close." He admitted to still texting Savage monthly in hopes of a response. Fishel, however, expressed understanding for Savage's decision not to participate in their podcast, believing their friendship will continue when the time is right.
