Iconic singer Boy George is auctioning over 350 personal items, chronicling his remarkable career and evolution as a style influencer. The collection, titled "Bold Luxury: Boy George Edit," features clothing, artwork, and memorabilia accumulated over 45 years. This extensive sale offers fans a unique glimpse into George's life, from his early days as a "Blitz Kid" to his global superstardom with Culture Club.

The auction includes significant pieces such as a plaid suit made by his mother for an early TV appearance in 1979 and a 1979 black leather jacket worn to the famed Blitz club. Among the most anticipated items is a 1983-1984 "Colour By Numbers" tour ensemble, estimated between $50,000 and $100,000, famously crafted from a Spanish bedspread.

Beyond personal mementos, the auction supports a vital cause. All proceeds from the "Bold Luxury: Boy George Edit" will be donated to MusiCares, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial and support services to individuals in the music industry facing hardship. This initiative reflects George's commitment to giving back to the community that shaped his own career.

Alongside the auction, Culture Club is preparing for a tour later in the year with support from ABC and Haircut 100.
