Boo's Voice Turns 30: You Won't Believe It!

Mary Gibbs, the distinctive voice of Boo from the animated hit Monsters, Inc., has recently passed the milestone of her 30th birthday. The actress, who lent her voice to the character nearly 25 years ago, marked the occasion with a nostalgic social media post. This post featured a comparative image, juxtaposing a recent photograph from a fan convention with a picture from the Monsters, Inc. premiere in 2001.

Gibbs's connection to the beloved film began serendipitously. Her father, a storyboard artist on Monsters, Inc., facilitated her involvement in the project. As an adult, Gibbs has openly embraced her role, continuing to connect with fans. Last month, she participated in a fan convention in Wales, where she met attendees and signed autographs, further solidifying her link to the enduring legacy of Monsters, Inc.
