BookMyShow Blocks Ratings for New Film

BookMyShow has disabled the review and rating features for the recently released action drama, 'The Paradise,' starring Nani. The platform now displays 'Rating & Review Disabled' on the film's page. This decision follows similar actions taken for other films on the platform.

Producers have previously suggested that disabling reviews aims to combat automated "review bombing" rather than genuine audience feedback. However, BookMyShow has not publicly disclosed the specific reason for disabling the features for 'The Paradise.'

Earlier, a Bengaluru court issued an order to restrict the publication and circulation of content deemed defamatory towards the film. Actor Nani later addressed the situation, clarifying that the court order was not intended to suppress authentic reviews from the audience.
