The 25th annual Bonsai Blossoms exhibition, a significant event by the India Friendship Bonsai Society (IFBS), commenced today at Jamnabai Narsee School. This celebrated exhibition showcases over 200 meticulously cultivated Indian bonsai trees, with some specimens ranging from 10 to 35 years old, demonstrating decades of dedicated care. Harsha Hinduja, President of IFBS, described bonsai as a 'living dialogue with Mother Earth,' symbolizing patience, balance, and harmony. The exhibition aims to foster a deeper environmental connection and cross-cultural understanding through this timeless art form. Inaugurated by actress Tamannaah Bhatia, the event celebrated the grounding and mindful aspects of bonsai. The exhibition also featured international artists from India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines, underscoring bonsai's role as a global art form. For the first time, Bonsai Blossoms 2026 includes specialized workshops led by prominent international and Indian bonsai artists, offering practical skills in styling and long-term tree care to enthusiasts and learners.
